We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rheumatology Infusion Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a Rheumatology Infusion Nurse, you will be responsible for administering infusion treatments to patients with rheumatic diseases in a clinic setting.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and evaluations of patients' health status and treatment needs
• Administer intravenous (IV) infusions and injections according to established protocols and orders
• Monitor patients' vital signs and adverse reactions to treatment, and take appropriate actions when necessary
• Educate patients and their families on medication administration, self-care, and symptom management
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment plans
• Comply with all federal, state, and institutional regulations and policies

Requirements:

• Active registered nursing or LPN license in the state of employment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in infusion therapy, preferably in a rheumatology clinic setting
• Strong knowledge of rheumatic diseases and their treatment
• Ability to independently administer complex infusion therapies, such as biologic agents and immunosuppressive drugs
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
